Long Way Down chronicles the adventures of film celebrities Charley Boorman and Ewan McGreggor. The two ride a pair of BMWs (with their fantastic and grossly under-rated camera-man, Claudio von Planta, on a third BMW) from their garage in London, England, to Cape Towne in South Africa. Along they way the meet many locals in very diverse cultures as well as overcome difficult obstacles. This is a great documentary for anyone who loves motorcycles and anyone who loves to see the diverse cultures of the world.

Race to Dakar documents Charley Boorman’s attempt at the most difficult race in the world, the Paris Dakar Rally. In this rally, trucks (lorries), rally-cars, motorcycles, and ATVs all battle for the same tract of sand in an epic fight to finish first. Many competitors from all over the world come just to attempt to finish the race and win the prized finisher’s medal – no small feat in itself. Will Charley and his BMW mount a successful effort to conquer the Dakar?
