Synopsis: FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Jamie Foxx) has just received the assignment of his career: assemble an elite team (Jennifer Garner, Chris Cooper and Jason Bateman) and go to Riyadh to hunt down and capture the terrorist mastermind behind a deadly attack on Americans working in Saudi Arabia. The feds have only one week to infiltrate and cripple a cell bent on jihad to western society.
No training could prepare Fleury and his team for the disorienting culture shock they face once inside this scorching foreign land–a byzantine maze of profiteering politicians and storefront terrorists. Bound by handlers who refuse to play ball with the U.S., the agents quickly find the local law enforcement more hindrance than help and soon grow uncertain of anybody’s allegiance.
But when a sympathetic Saudi police captain helps them navigate Riyadh politics and investigate the true cause of the attack, Fleury finds an unexpected comrade-in-arms. In their lightning fast attempt to crack the case, the partners’ search leads them straight to the killers’ front door. Now in a fight for their own lives, two teams on opposite sides of the war on terror won’t stop until justice is found in The Kingdom.

Synopsis: The film opens with Brad, an out-of-work musician, making a cup of latté for his wife Lexi, who is still in bed. Lexi soon leaves for work as Brad starts to unpack the boxes from their recent move. Over the radio, Brad hears the emergency broadcast tone. At first he thinks nothing of it, but as the radio DJ begins to speak in a fearful tone, Brad’s attention is immediately directed towards the dreadful message to come.
Three large detonations have just wreaked havoc on downtown LA. Lexi works in downtown LA. Brad exits his house to view the devastation and sees large plumes of smoke rising from city center. Desperately trying to raise Lexi on her cellphone, Brad decides to make his way downtown to ensure Lexi’s safety. Blocked at every intersection, Brad is unable to progress towards the center of LA. The radio still sounding of impending doom, he hears news that the detonations were terrorist attacks and that people are urged to stay in their homes. Still driving, the news from his radio reveals that authorities fear that the terrorist bombs may be of the chemical or biological warfare type.
Emergency broadcasts soon urge residents to seal up their homes to prevent contamination from the assumed deadly ash clouds that are engulfing the city. The neighbor’s handyman, with nowhere to go, joins Brad and helps him seal his home from the harmful dust. There is still no word from Lexi and all telephone and cellular lines are busy. There is a deep lack of information from the emergency broadcasts, Brad and the handyman can only sit and wait.
Will Brad see Lexi again? What devastation will dirty bombs wreak upon Los Angeles? What effects will the harmful biological warfare have on city’s citizens and what will the American government do to help?

Synopsis: A middle-school science teacher and a hot sauce mogul vie for the Guinness World Record on the arcade classic, Donkey Kong.
In 1982, LIFE Magazine assembled the worlds greatest gamers for a photo shoot that would become the center spread of their 1982 Year-In-Photos edition. Billy Mitchell, who would later be named the Gamer of the Century, was one of the invitees.
Mitchell, the World Record holder on Centipede, had been tracking the score on Donkey Kong, and knew he could take that title as well. In front of the 20 best gamers in the world, Billy scored 874,300 points, a record many thought would never be broken.
In 2003, 35 year old family man Steve Wiebe, after losing his job at Boeing, found solace in Donkey Kong. Steve stumbled upon Billy Mitchells record online, and set out to break it. He began perfecting his game every night after his wife and kids went to bed, and not only surpassed Billys record, but ended up with a thought-to-be-impossible 1,000,000 points.
A tidal wave of media coverage followed, and Steve Wiebe quickly became a celebrity in his hometown of Seattle, WA. He also rediscovered his love for teaching, and regained the respect of all who once doubted him. Meanwhile, back in Hollywood, FL, Billy Mitchell hatched a plan to reclaim his fallen Donkey Kong record
In the months that followed, Steve and Billy engaged in a cross-country duel to see who could set the high score that would be included in the 2007 Guinness World Records book and become The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. Along the way, both men learned valuable lessons about what it means to be a father, a husband, and a true champion discovering that you dont always need to win to be a winner.

This sitcom recently aired on CBS and is on hiatus due to the writer’s strike (more on that in a different post…). Originally picked up for 22 episodes, eight were aired before running out of completed material. Hopefully the other 14 shows will be aired when the strike is resolved.
Premise: Sheldon and Leonard are two physics doctorates currently performing research at their local university. Their old transvestit neighbors calls it quits and leaves their building. As they returning from work, they are surprised to find that their new neighbor is a drastic an improvement: a very cute and bubbly blonde Cheesecake Factory waitress from Omaha, who is certainly down a few pegs on the intellectual scale that Sheldon and Leonard observe.
Leonard quickly falls for Penny, but typical of science dorks, Leonard is too shy to reveal his feelings for Penny. Penny, recently broken up with her jock boyfriend is ready for new beginnings and a less lust-filled relationship with different kind of man. Penny, also shy and apprehensive towards Leonard, is reluctant to reveal feelings she has for Leonard and this sets up the awkward interactions and situations that the two endure for the duration of the series.
Joining Leonard and Sheldon are their eccentric fellow science nerds, Wolowitz (the romantic) and Koothrappali (the “foreign guy). Together they form your typical video-game-playing, trivia-wielding, over-analyzing nerd quartet.
Hilarity ensues as this genetic bouillabaisse of characters strive to learn more about every-day life.

Leaving the copious amounts of drugs behind, Llewelyn returns home to his wife claiming that they have no more worries. However, Llewelyn feels remorse when thinking about the dying cartel member and decides to return to the blood-bathed scene with water for the doomed man.
